The Newport Beach Public Library Foundation is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit organization. Our financials are audited each year by Guzman & Gray, Certified Public Accountants and are available upon request. The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles applied on a consistent basis. The organization’s tax identification number is #33-0593010.
The Board of Directors reviews the scope and results of the Foundation’s audit, and current and emerging accounting, and financial requirements and practices affecting the Foundation. The Board of Directors also reviews monthly financial statements provided by Foundation staff.
Every gift received regardless of the amount is acknowledged with a receipt in the form of a letter. We believe transparency is of the utmost importance and take our donors’ contributions seriously.
